There had been heavy rain overnight but it had ceased by 8:30 in the morning for a time but returned by 10:30 but this did not deter either the Remembrance Day ceremonies
or the Dark Side hash from proceeding as scheduled. Rain ceasing and some clearing for time early afternoon was promising but more rain and strong winds were then
predicted for the evening. However, this did not deter ten intrepid hashers from gathering at the Reynolds Park
parking lot to challenge a trail set by Some Bitchy C*nt and Speedy Whorezales despite the return of light
rain by 7:00PM. Among some familiar faces it was a pleasure to again welcome Mustafa Kunt of the
Montreal H3 who visits with Turkish Delight while she winters in Victoria. The trail
led into and among the paths of Playfair Park
and out onto Kathleen Street then meandered through various streets before entering the Cedar Hill Golf Course Chip Trail at the south end of James Height Drive.
Along the way Speedy, absent at the outset, joined the group to bring the number to eleven. The chip trail took the hashers onto the
various golf cart trails on the golf course and eventually finished with a beer check at the small parking area off Ascot Drive adjacent to Kings Pond Park.
With increased rain threatening the RA, Richard the Turd, with consensus held religion here as well. The hares were rewarded, as was
Mustafa for his welcome participation. Sir My Cocks A Fallen was called into the circle for atypically
passing up a little library and not scrounging as usual. Dikkus drank a down down as the BLAB
because, although it was noted that he had departed for the hash in time, he took some time to actually join the "circle up". Yeast Infection
was charged with "obsessing about free beer". Premature Evacuation was out ahead of the pack along the trail but seemed to have lost
his voice and failed to call out the expected "on-ons".
Stoolie Andrews was known to be suffering some back issue; therefore, to ease his discomfort he was named the "Wanker"
to enjoy amber tonic. Hashers then proceeded to the Monkey Tree Pub to be met by Turkish Delight
who was maintaining a place for them.
