A cloudy cool evening saw twelve hashers gather in the parking lot off Nursery Road in Beacon Hill Park.
In addition to the regular Dark Side participants it was a pleasure to welcome Just Nova to her third Hash and first Dark Side.
She joined Prosucker (and later on trail co-hare Some Bitch C’) to represent the distaff hashing element
of this august event. Trash Panda and Madhatter were the canine hashers.
In addition to the usual hare’s briefing by Speedy Whorezales there was a full explanation to Just Nova
about "hook markings"
on Trail. As the runners dashed off to follow dots of flour in the park Speedy led seven walkers on a long
amble out along Michigan Street and Back along Niagara. Along the way SBC was encountered as she had been still marking the trail.
The walkers also encountered Ice Breaker in company with Just Nova because they had been "hooked" and had to
reposition behind the hindmost walking hasher – Boomerang. Both the running and walking trails led to the summit of Beacon Hill Loop where
the beer check offered a grand vista across Juan De Fuca Strait with a clearing sky but dropping temperature. At religion
back in the parking lot Richard the Turd first rewarded the hares then called in Just Nova for a welcoming
down-down
on her first Dark Side. She subsequently joined Ice Breaker in the circle for a quaff because despite the earlier briefing,
she got "hooked" with Ice Breaker. Trash Panda was guilty of nipping at fingers and also at
Madhatter, who surprisingly was not agitated by the Turd’s miter as at DS 349 19 May.
Prosucker drank the down-down. Boomerang was observed remaining too long at checks perhaps in
a confused state of mind. Drink he did. Your humble scribe, Sir My Cocks A’Fallen, was honoured with a quaff, this being
his 120th DS. Jack the Tripper was guilty of scene shifting – walker, then runner, and finished as a walker.
Premature Evacuation had sought out the dirtiest public washroom on trail to attend to his need. Stoolie Andrews
eschewed a bathroom and "let it hang out" to publically "pump his bilge". I Dream Of Weenie was charged "just because---", and
Stroke Alone was named "Wanker" again just because. Who said there has to be a reason at the hash!! With sky now clear
and revealing what would be a glorious sunset the DS concluded with eight heading to the Beagle Pub.
