Ten hashers convened at the Cloverdale entrance to Rutledge Park for the monthly Dark Side.  The usual "suspects" were present but the male hounds were delighted to welcome Overthehill to her first Dark Side.  She was the only distaff side hasher to participate.  After a preamble from the hare, Dikkus, about the legacy of the founder of the Hash in Kuala Lumpur 1938, Gispert, who was killed in action 11 February, 1942, four walkers joined ten runners on Trail.  Dikkus had exceeded himself by providing very well marked trails for both groups, distinguished by different-coloured chalk.  The walking group eventually became five when Stoolie Andrews left the runners to join.  The trails led to the beer check at a small greensward at the junction of Rutledge and Villance, and then on-in to religion at the "pink elephant" in Rutledge Park.  Stoolie was the first to be called into "circle of shame" because he failed to understand what the "E" (eagle) and "T" (turkey) on trail signified.

Stroke Alone not atypically was a BLAB and down downed.  I Dream of Weenie was recognized for his sixth Dark Side – half way to receive the distinction patch.  Speedy Whorezales stood in for Weenie who had already imbibed his sensibly-set limit.  Ice Breaker was charged for not A.S.I.
