Fourteen intrepid hashers came together on a dampish chilly night in Playfair Park for the 345th Darkside,
which atypically was scheduled for a Saturday to celebrate a new moon and the start of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
In addition to some Darkside regulars it was a pleasure to have Bonnie McShite, and Just Tim
participate in their first Dark Side for which they were recognized at religion later. The hare, Premature Evacuation, set
a trail that incorporated the path around Swan Lake and a section of the Lochside Trail.
Five walkers enjoyed a leisurely stroll to the Lochside Trail south of Swan Lake. All hashers travelled back along the trail to arrive at,
anticipated by frequent hashers, Preemie's home on St. Peter’s Road where both the beer check and religion were.
After rewarding Preemie as hare the RA,
Richard the Turd, rewarded himself for this being his 175th Darkside.
Stoolie Andrews was charged for not keeping informed – he whinged on arrival about not knowing the current cost although it
had been set for some time. Oh Candida was guilty of "name abuse"; the scribe was punished for "watering" shrubbery in
Preemie’s back yard without "license" to do so; and Dikkus was honour charged for, from among his
extensive collection of hash shirts over the years, wearing a most appropriate shirt to acknowledge the Lunar New Year. This encouraged him to offer
revealing a "moon" but the offer was denied! Just Seamus admitted to participating now in six hashes and remaining
under the radar so that he hasn’t yet been named; therefore, his hash companion, Bonnie M, charged him with "being boring".
Some Bitchy C observed that Just Tim too vigorous on trail and he was so charged. He was perplexed
that "endurance" should be a crime because in some "circumstances" (open to interpretation!!) that would be desirable. It should be noted that this
athletic man again evidenced the vigor he displayed at his first hash, 841st, the previous Saturday by running from his home to this event – reminiscent
of Sexi Lexi at hash 756st, 27 July 2019. Speedy Whorezales was called into the
circle as "Prick of the Month" just because ---! The merriment concluded about 9:00 and folks then proceeded to the
Monkey Tree Pub for on afters with music bingo.
