It's the Dark Side of the Moon 300^th run, and it is hared by committee, the Dark Side leadership, the Junta: left-to-right Blue Balls, Dikkus, Premature Evacuation (their Tyrant), and Digger.  Here they're explaining their trail marks.

Dolly Boy and Itchy Buns.  Combined they probably represent over 40 years of hashing.  Dolly Boy in 2000 (VH3 run 242), and Itchy in 2000 (VH3 run 261).

Dark Siders follow the flour trail up Beacon Hill, following trails through the camas flowers.

Richard the Turd, and his faithful dog hasher Drugged Detection Dog.  The Turd has been setting the Annual Dark Side XMass trail as far back as memory goes.  Here he is with Stoolie Andrews and CUS in the DS 2002 Xmas Run #98, the oldest online photographic evidence of the XMas runs.

Another veteran Darksider, Stoolie Andrews.  Stools was named in 1998, on VH3 run 135.

It wasn't long before the rabble reached the BC.  A number of the photos are out of focus, probably due to the poor light, but this is still a good angle, so I kept it.  Click here for a larger image

Despite there being an entire junta of hares, the trail seemed short.  Hashers enjoy the cool May evening.

Only 14 minutes after the last shot, Stoolie is in the dark.  Being in the dark is not uncommon with the Dark Side.

The visitors get a down-down: Pylon from Vancouver, Recycled Virgin from New Zealand, Liquor Canoe from Bellingham, and Shit Face from Bellingham.

It looks like Dikkus, Penetration, and Dolly Boy are charged.  Normally I would suspect Dikkus being charged for short-cutting, but he's one of the hares, so that can't be it.

Preemie gets charged, and is the first to take punishment on the Ice Seat.  I suspect a long song was sung.

Testicular and High Beams are either charged or honoured.  Testicular was named on the VH3 Christmas run 211 in 1998.  High Beams was named on VH3 run 241 in 2000.

Our visitor from New Zealand is called into the circle.

She probably gets the Ice Seat for having gone all that distance to visit us.

Pylon and Wet Taco are invited into the circle for a down-down.

Stroke Alone takes the Ice Seat, and is honoured to reads the Beer Prayer on the back of the Dark Side Holy Bedpan.

For on-afters the Bent Mast Pub provided a private room.  These two hashers are Cinderella and Hymen Manuever.  Cinderella is a veteran hasher with one of the earliest on-line photos of him being on Red Dress run 222.  We haven't seen them out that often recently, but they came out specially for the Dark Side 300^th run.

Mary Poppins is sitting across from Nut Job.  Here we have the newer generation of Victoria hashers, ... maybe planning the future of the Dark Side.On On!
